"I genuinely love painting these wild and windy characters, especially on this scale. I love seeing their characters appear on the canvas as the painting progresses ... and then more fun comes from dreaming up a suitable name. I asked for some title ideas on social media for this one and had some brilliant suggestions, ranging from the hilarious to the slightly risqué to a genius play on words. My work in progress title was Blondie, so when a clever clogs suggested Goldilocks, I added the usual Scottish twist and Goldilochs was born!"
